When my husband & I got married in 2013, elopements were only just beginning to gain popularity. All I wanted to do was stand on a rooftop terrace in Santorini with my immediate family & then spend a few weeks travelling around Europe for our honeymoon. I’d started to see these sorts of weddings pop up & I thought they were literally the most incredible way of getting married I’d ever seen. My husband was on board & when we excitedly shared our thoughts we were told by so many people that we would regret not having a big wedding. To this day, the only thing we actually regret is listening to those voices that tried to tell us the only way to get married was to do it the traditional way.

This is why I am so passionate about doing what you want to do when you get married.

I’ve created this Elopement guide to help you plan your dream elopement in Tasmania. I have a few packages, however I can also create an experience entirely unique to you.

Prices for travel to the Tasmanian Islands are subject to Flights/Ferry & Accommodation regardless of the package coverage time.

Please Note — My Elopement Packages are strictly for less than 20 guests & only available between Monday - Thursday during the months of October to April.

  • After sending through an enquiry & having your initial consult, I just require a $500 a non-refundable deposit to hold your date. The balance is then due 4 weeks before your elopement date.

    During this time we keep in touch & I am available for assistance with planning, recommendations & obtaining permits (required for photography in national parks & on crown land).

  • The minimum amount of people that can be present during a legal marriage ceremony is 5 - you, your partner, your celebrant & two witnesses. If you don’t want your witnesses to be anyone you know, I am happy to stand in & assist with a second witness.

    I also don’t put up any photos on social media or my website without your permission, so I promise your secret is safe with me!

  • Yes of course you can. I completely understand that sometimes things happen that are beyond our control & you may need to reschedule. You are allowed one free-of-charge date change within 12 months of your original date. If your new date isn’t available we can discuss options!

    You can also change your mind on which package you would like up to 4 weeks prior to your wedding.

    Also, if we need a little extra time on your elopement day, that is totally ok too! We can discuss options if required.

  • I don’t provide USBs as standard in my packages. This is to ensure that you receive your images on a secure online gallery that you can share quickly & easily with your family and friends. It also ensures that your images are safe on the cloud and not gathering dust on a USB.

    If you would like to purchase a USB package you can do so through your online gallery once your photos have been delivered.

  • Yes, absolutely. I am very passionate about sustainable ecotourism & minimising my ecoenvironmental impact.

    I am so blessed to live in such a beautiful state, full of so many incredible national parks and unique flora & fauna. My commitment to the environment includes living a low waste life, minimising my carbon footprint by lifestyle choices & ensuring that I adhere to the     7 principles of leave no trace.

    I am also passionate about breaking generational poverty through child sponsorship with compassion — our sponsor child Didier lives in Nicaragua & we hope to visit him one day!
